Tekong Seafood
We drove around for 10mins looking for Ponggol Choon Seng but to no avail so we settled for Tekong Seafood which is just around the corner of changi village.
It was my decision to have seafood even thou it was my brother's birthday dinner. This is what happens when you don't decide what you want. I get what i want :)
All goes well anyway. Food was good! Prawn was so fresh, it kinda spilled blood or some red liquid as we open it up to feed our growling stomach. Lobster was okaay. Not a big fan of fried seafood especially fried lobster. OILY!
This plate of vegetable called "mani" in whatever dialect taste fantastic. I swear I'll turn vegetarian for that plate! Fish was damn fresh as well but i had it cold. I spent too much time on lobster :(
I find having Chinese food, at least Chinese seafood, kind of a eating marathon. Eat it quick while it's hot or else it's pointless to have it cold. Being me, i like to eat slowly to savour it. We finished 8 plates of everything in an hour or so. SO QUICK!
Prawns, lobster, fish, mussels, vege, another type of vege, mee goreng and something else. Shit. I forgot.
Till now i haven't had a chance to take much photos with my MOTO KRZR k3m, i resorted to taking pictures of prawns, crabs, fish and lobsters in the pool. Ridiculous.
We were suppose to watch a movie, The Kingdom as a family afterwards but it was on and off, on and off and in the end off.
While we're still at home.
Dad: Wanna watch movie or not?
Mum: Sian lah.
Brother: (the usual) anything lah. up to you.
On the way for dinner.
Me: Mummy. Go watch lah. All of us watch together.
Mum: OKaay lah.
After dinner as my dad was driving.
Me: So are we heading to the cineplex now?
Dad: Don't want lah. Sleepy after eating so much.
GRRRR. The only last time i remembered watching movie as a whole was when i was 10yrs old? Chucky! Since then, i had fear of barbie dolls.
YANE LOVES SEAFOOD.
