Marathon

Believe it or not. I am determine to get myself fit and ready to join a marathon this year. I believe 11 months should be adequate to take part in a 5k Dec 08 Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon.

I have a vague preparation plan in mind. Just to be careful and get more equipped than i think i am, i have to finally pay the library my fines to borrow some books.

I have maxed out the mere $7 of credit National Library Board (NLB) has given. I find the amount very pathetic. It discourages me to go back and borrow books. To renew for another 2 or 3 weeks i have to pay another 50cents. It's not a lot but i borrow 4 books at a time and then i renew it late. It's not easy to use up the pathetic $7.

Now i even owe my school (TP) library money. My due date just so happens on Xmas eve and i can't renew it anymore. Sigh.

I should start buying books instead. Might be expensive but i have all the time in the world to read it and treat it bad as I like without feeling guilty. Who knows in the future I’ll have a book shelf with lots of REAL BOOKS and not the fake hollow paper covers. It will look like I’m a book worm eh? :P

I have a 80% feeling I’ll stick to my goal to run a marathon :P
sooo. If i don't mention about it in my blog in the future, u know what happened :P
