Freaking HP service center!
I had the intention of blogging really nice things about my vacation and what I've been up to lately after being inactive for close to a month due to certain laptop issues. I dislike whining and complaining about my life or happenings in my life on my blog. But i have no one to hear me out right at this second.
FREAKING HP technical support crews - YOU SUCK! A week before my exams (3rd wk of February) my laptop died. Yes it died on me. I count it a blessing in disguise so i could really start focusing on studying. Not that the sacrifice was worth it. i still did badly. But hey, it could have been worst right?
I only manage to send it for repair after my exams and collected it when i got back from China which is like 17th march? I hardly managed to use it for a day and realised the audio jack doesn't work. I was like "wtf is with them?! i ask them to fix something they created another issue!" So i sent it back and receive calls from them about the issue is "blah blah blah blah blah" and "sorry we need more time to get new parts" when all i needed to hear was " mdm. your laptop is ready for collection".
Being very impatient i insisted they return it to me till the new parts arrived. Afterall they had my password and i didn't want them to snoop around my files!
One or two hours earlier i got it back. I told myself "why are u so dumb yane? it's a problem u could have lived with." BECAUSE when i put my laptop on, my touch pad doesn't work! Yane screamed to herself in her head "you fking morons! i trusted u to fix a minor problem and instead of doing that you create another one for me! fking fking fking morons!"
So i spent 40mins with a operator located in India (uh huh. i had that experience many other times) trying to fixed it even though i knew it was related to the motherboard and there's nothing he could do with it. But i gave him his chance to fulfil his duty. What for? Hope.
I don't think i make much sense so far. I always talk in a mess when I'm in a rush to expel all this anger in me. I figured it would make more sense if i leave the anger out.
1)my laptop died.
2) the motherboard has to be replaced
3) Laptop works but audio jack doesn't. Why? some pins/wire related to motherboard is damaged and new parts are required.
4) Send it back for repair.
5) Now my touch pad doesn't work. Why? Something related to the damn motherboard.
conclusion: they did a very bad job. they create more unhappiness and trouble for me. I'm never going to buy HP product, not because it's not good (i like my laptop) but i now have a fear of trusting HP technical support.
Okay. Now i have to racked my brains to write cover letters and resume and send it out for internship. i don't even know how to start.
