In Pursuit of Life, Liberty and Laughter
Little boxes on an island, Little boxes made of ticky-tacky, There's a green one and a pink one and a blue one and a yellow one and they're all made out of ticky-tacky and they all look just the same. And the people in the houses All go to the university, And they all get put in boxes, Little boxes, all the same. And there's doctors and there's lawyers and business executives, and they're all made out of ticky-tacky and they all look just the same.

Ugly aunties in buses and more ...

What i meant by ugly aunties isnt about their looks instead it is about their behaviour. This is what i observed during one fine morning until this... One auntie came up the bus 88 with her maid and two kids and quickly rush to seats when there is plenty. That is pretty common but what irks me the most was the auntie scolding the kids and the maid loudly, REALLY LOUDLY. Auntie said (in chinese) "next time ah you all better sit there. there ah the specially coloured seat or else later very hard to get down because the bus YO YO " haha. why is she so proud to show kiasu-ness by speaking so loudly and the kids actually are pretty kiasu themselves when they rushed up the bus to"'CHOPPED" the seats.Kiasu-ness is bad and what's worst is the aunties dont know they are causing the younger generations to be like them. UGLY UGLY UGLY.OH. did i mention about fat errr i mean OVERLY OBESE passengers in buses? I see them squeezing to sit in between people (ME) when only half their butt is allowed in. Im trying hard not to discriminate them but they should be entitled to pay double the fare prices or at least force to stand. it will help them lose some weight =)Passengers should realise that commuting in public transports doesnt mean we lose our basic mannerism but saying excuse me or sorry.i dont think we are exactly a fine city afterall. NOT just base on this but i could go on and on...yikes.
